What is Coaching? It’s professional training and development with the emphasis shifting from being told what to do and how to do it to being enabled and empowered to identifying what’s best for you and how you’re best going to achieve it.
It's about setting clear goals and achieving them. A Coach will help you identify your goals and set a plan, identifying your priorities along the way. Your Coach will work with you so that you keep on track with your plan, will listen to you, encourage you, question you and have no agenda of their own. Your committment is to take action to achieve your goals and feedback to your Coach on your progress. I use various tools and models as well as adopting a style designed to encourage you to open up and explore your wider thinking. Using your skills, we work together to establish the means by which you will achieve success. Mark Twain - Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did do".
What Advice Does the Coach Give?A Coach won't advise you on what to do. You always have the best strategy for achieving success. What you need, however, is a genuine, honest, non judgemental "sounding board" who will constructively challenge your thinking and ideas solely for the purpose of getting you to dig deep within your own resources for the best possible way forward to achieving your goals. Walt Disney - If you can dream it, you can do it!".
How Does it Work?I get you to seriously focus on what it is that you really want - in your life, career, business. I then use a strategy enabling you to make a plan on how to achieve and then I ask you to commit to taking ACTION. You give me feedback on your progress and if you feel you're not on course, we tackle it together to get you back on track. For you to make progress you must take action, evaluate consequences, adjust your plan and take further action toward your Goals. If you do nothing, that's exactly what you'll get back. Christopher Reeve - At first dreams seem impossible, then improbable, and eventually inevitable".
